After the controversy over the National Artist Award, it looks like we have another one coming as a recent interview, film director Carlo J. Caparas admits being overwhelmed at the prospect of being considered a National Artist; having come from a poor and humble background.
On top of that, he is mulling over the possibility of running for the Senate in 2010!!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm really sick when people all claim to be 'masa' or 'of poor origins'. That doesn't make them somehow more worthy especially since a lot of them, when they have the money are just as bad, if not worse than those who came from more established origins. The hubris of this fellow knows no bounds.
ReplyDeleteOh,God.And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse. Somebody shoot me,please.A double tap at the base of the skull.. X-(
ReplyDeleteBetter yet...plant a bomb in his studio and let it be done with. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI can't find nay qualities over this guy so please stop dreaming even if it's free just don't.....
ReplyDeleteI know. Uncouth and no sense of refinement even when during interviews. I just hope he doesn't push through with it and not dope the people to vote for him. Sheesh
